Important Note:- Before step to this process make sure you have copied all your contacts and notes onto your Memory, because every thing will be deleted. When its finished the formatted phone may be like new, just like when u have brought it from showroom.
This trick works almost all Nokia symbian models. Example n-series,/s60v3, s60v2(N73,N78,N95,N70,N81..etc) and s60 models.
Method 1 hard format
1. Switch off your phone
2. Remove sim card & memory card
3. Now press & hold keys ( 3,*,call green )
4. Then holding these three buttons the press power button
5. Formatting task will be started
6. key *, 3 , call (green) press and hold when display is on than formatting screen is displayed. Wait for formatting to be finished
Method 2
1. Press following key sequence *#7370#
2. It will ask you to confirm press yes
3. Enter Default lock code 12345(defoult by nokia) note <---if you have changed your code type your code not defoult
4. And your phone will be restored in defoult factory setting
Method 3 soft format
1. Press following key sequence *#7780#
2. It will ask you to confirm press yes

Step 2: Backup your all SMS and Multimedia messages,Photos and other necessary information.
Step 3:Master reset the phone.
